2 Girls to every GUY!!




Niki had wine before the hot tub and after the Ono! The Spices in the curry cream spiced up the evening in more ways than one !!

2 Girls to every BOY!!

TWO girls to every boy!!! It was not a chatter fest or girl gone bad video - it was a beautiful exchange of conversation and participation. This tends to happen around a kitchen, cooking with and good food a story behind each ingredient and people who have passion and a yearning for discovery and satiation. Simple things really. Things around us each day that we may or may not recognize due to our minds being full of the immediate compulsory duties and our unwavering commitment to fulfill them. Beautiful People!! Beautiful Food! Fabulous Stories! How nice to take a moment to enjoy the pineapple salsa - delicately drizzled over the Kalua Pork cojita spiced cheese stuffed in fresh baby bell yellow and red peppers accentuated by a cilantro cream kick. All ingredients gathered the same day around the beautiful big island of Hawaii. This was just the beginning. Conversations racing around the kitchen...inspired by the aroma of the birds eye chili at first...Traci on her roll about her experience in Indonesia and being introduced to tempe goreng translates into batter fried tofu bean with each bite followed by a birds eyes and the tears and profuse perspiring that accompanied it ....... Tic with the stories of Thailand and Malasian and how it is a staple in the kitchen - her tip on freezing them to keep them fresh so they will maintain the flavor and personality for the next recipe...Meanwhile in the midst of it all Maria prepares quietly a green papaya salad .... gracefully pealing layer after layer of freshly picked papaya. Her calm in busy chaotic kitchen can only be described as GRACE. Steady, slow and confident. We can wait for what is next.....

Maria took fresh coconut shavings and toasted them with some savory spices for all of us to enjoy. What is the secret in that spice mixture?
We all want to know!
The fine coconut shreds were dissolved into the fresh coconut cream curry sauce to envelope the perfectly cooked Ono!
